Sorry but I have had my sticky fingers in there and modified the code, only for the HL2. I have made the Mic control vary the VAC1 Tx gain if you are on VFOA and VAC2 for VFOB.

The HL2 only works with the VACs for audio and I found it an annoyance to keep bring up the setup forms.

It is complicated by having to handle the audio levels for digital modes as well and you might have noticed that the RX1 and RX2 AF sliders go grey when you switch to DIGU or DIGL. Digital mode have there own sliders.

It may not be prefect but I advise users to use the Mic control for SSB and not go near the VAC Tx control. I'm open for suggestions.

the mic slider should not move the tx vac gain unless Reid has changed it for HL2. Also, changing the vac tx gain should not move the mic sider. Under the transmit tab you can adjust the min/max of the mic gain, but that has no effect at all on vac tx gain

I think it's a good idea to use the Mic control for SSB and not go near the VAC Tx control. I always found that practical instead of going in the setup... Since I do not run anything else than a HL2, I did not know it was not supposed to work like that...
