win10widgets's Issues

Widgets White

Widget backgrounds by default are solid white when I load any widget. Not sure how to change this, but it also seems like unexpected behavior for first install. Most text is illegible.

GPU widet goes over 100%

Hey,
i found another bug in your for of win10widgets and that is that percentage counter for GPU can go over 100%

Sync dark/light theme with Windows 10

The latest version of windows has a dark theme, which changes elements such as context menus to be dark, so if I schedule windows to change to the dark theme automatically at night, it wouldn't affect win10widgets, because all elements are skinned.โ€‹

Issue | Spotify plugin not working

Heya.

I installed win10widgets today and I wanted to use the Spotify plugin.

I installed Spicetify...
imagen

...also the WebNowPlaying plugin with the .rmskin file (Spanish Windows sorry)
imagen

But the plugin doesn't seems to detect my Spotify App (Not the Windows Store one, by the way)

The buttons doesn't work neither.

I tried reinstalling everything but it didn't work, so I decided to create this issue.

Someone can help me?

Thanks.

Weather widget does not auto-refresh

Hey MinhThienDX,

Firstly great work on reviving this fantastic Rainmeter skin!

It would seem that the Weather widget does not auto-refresh meaning it always displays weather from when Rainmeter first started up - you have to manually refresh it to get the latest weather.

I believe the original version of the Weather widget did this.

Thanks very much :)

"Error: Spotify Plugin not working" instead of artist/song title

Hi, I'm having a problem with setting up the Spotify widget and cannot seem to fix it. Perhaps I am doing something wrong - I'd rather ask here in case it's a real bug and not my fault.

I've installed Spicetify (to get the .dll) and added manually WebNowPlaying .dll file to the plugin dir. I've loaded the Spotify widget (smallest version) and it's correctly controlling the play/pause, next and previous buttons (I can use those fine to control Spotify), but their images are not changing (not sure if the play should change to a pause image when the song is playing) and the artist and song title is nowhere to be seen - instead, I get "Error: Spotify Plugin not working" in their place. Timestamps and covers are also not displayed at all.

Feature Request: Slide performance monitors

I've been messing around with this for a couple days trying to get this to work but can't seem to figure it out since there are so many nested ini's. What I'm trying to do, for example, is have the tiny-cpu monitor on the right side of the screen show just the graph, then when I hover over it, have it slide out to show the rest of the skin.

I've tried editing CPU-Tiny.ini, cpuTemplate.ini, and performanceTemplateX4.ini but can't seem to get it to work. I'm guessing I need to make modifications to all 3 but not sure how. Hopefully you consider this for a future release.

Support for Windows Store Spotify

Hi, I'm having a problem with the Spotify widget. The widget doesn't work whenever I open the app or play a song/playlist. It just does nothing, no error displayed. I believe this problem happens because the Spotify app which I use is from Windows Store (even though it's an official win32 app, not PWA or UWP).
image
Image Description: I'm playing Fire on fire by Sam Smith on Spotify but the widget shows nothing!

So, is it because the app comes from Windows Store, or is it something else that make this issue? If the problem is because of the Store, may you add support? It's no rush but it's nice to see this issue get fixed ;)

Feature Request: Hard Drives Perf Combo widget

I would dearly love to see a widget which shows the performance of multiple disks in one box the size of a small "Performance - Disk".

I have tried and to my shame I cannot get my head around how these widgets work, so the best I've managed is to get a separate "Performance - Disk2" which is fine, but uses up more desktop space than I would like.

I've been into disk Template.ini; disk Selector.ini; tried making my own combo.ini, performance TemplateX2.ini; and I just get lost as one thing refers to another and another. I'm lost, perhaps you guys can do better than me.

Add GPU fan RPM?

Would it be possible to pull GPU fan RPM from HWInfo along with the temperature? Looking at the Rainformer skin I was able to get to the EntryId, but I'm not familiar with Rainmeter ini files, so I can't figure out the next step of actually sending that info to the widget's text. I just want to show this as text below the temperature. Any help would be appreciated!
