novaroma's Issues

The operation is not allowed by namespaces in xml

Any time i try to add a show, Novaroma finds the show, proceeds on to the edit screen and will not populate past the edit screen. I get a windows notification: The operation is not allowed by namespaces in xml. Movies will populate and allow me to add them just not shows. Please help.

Remote server returned error 400. Bad request

As the subject says. Remote server returns error 400. Bad request.
Initially it was returning error 403, so I removed thepiratebay.vg from the list of torrent searching sites. And now error 400 comes up.

Any fix?

Can you add the option to use a trakt.tv account and the database and calendar from your account like DuckieTV has.

Have Torrent Download into TV Show Tree.

Hey guys,

So I have a extensive library of movies and TV Shows already established when I came across Novaroma. I setup all my show directories to be recognized and it appears to be working just fine. However, when Novaroma picks up new shows and downloads them, it leaves them in my torrents directory and I have to manually move them over.

After poking around in the settings it looks like this might be intended by default and maybe is not working for me?

If not, is there any plan to have a default DownloadEventHandler to do this? I am trying to develop my own right now but I don't think I am unique in this situation.

[Feature Request] Connecting to uTorrent

Can you connect to uTorrent by using its api like DuckieTv uses so you don’t have to enable its web-UI.

utorrent (installed): 3.4.9
How to reproduce: it's happens every x minutes. If I trigger the "Execute Download" action, it always happen.

The problem does not affect the download or the file move.

I tried to find the log file, but I couldn't. Let me know if I can send you better info.

Even if you can't find the problem, my suggestion is to remove this annoying popup in case of generic error. Every movie I watch, I keep seeing these popus on top.

Can you add https://rarbg.to and https://torrentz.eu as another torrent search engine.

Compile for Linux

What language is this written in? Can I compile it for Linux?

thepiratebay.vg cannot be found

Installed NovaRoma yesterday but cannot download anything. A popup appears with the message The remote name could not be resolved 'thepiratebay.vg'. This URL also cannot be found when entered directly in my browser.

520 Error

Error: The remote server returned error : 520 origin error

What is this referencing?

[Feature Request]

Hi, this is a two part feature request.

1. One feature would be to have the program drop the .torrent files into a folder rather than connecting directly to uTorrent or Transmission. Some people use a watch folder.
2. Have an option to turn off automatic file moving after a torrent finishes downloading. I use my own scripts to detect new files when they are download an move them appropriately.

ideas for software

hi im a big fan of ur software and i was wondering if u could add these features into the next update if ur still developing the software

1. adding a filter to allow the program only to download these sources ettv
2. allowing future films to be added to the queue and not show this message and have a hard time showing more info (same way with upcoming tv series)
   

3.i noticed when I installed the program it had a open candy adware attached and first time I got rid of the adware the software stopped working
