Information about repo

Hi @dmyersturnbull,

I would like to know which was the purpose of this repository and how advanced it is, because we are trying to do something that I think it is similar to this idea.

In particular, I am trying to reshape and extend the class Protodomain to include information about the secondary structure elements and other structural characteristics to be able to cluster and classify the Protodomains obtained from symmetry analysis.

An advantage is that from the new version of CE-Symm we obtain the exact domain or chain ranges of every subunit (or protodomain) involved in the symmetry, so we could store all of them instead of only one for every domain.

It would be great if there was something done in that direction and we don't have to start from scratch.
