Hi,
This was built on a windows PC and has been running in windows for years. I currently have it running on my windows 10 PC using Unity 2019.
I have never seen the unity_csc.bat error before. The line ending warning has nothing to do with linux. Unity sometimes spits that warning out even for files created within its own editor. Not sure why.
Importing the package should work with no issues.

Yeah, haven't seen anything like this either. At the moment it seems that as soon as I import the library the console throws this:

And all scripts, including my own go into the "The associated script can not be loaded, please fix compile errors." mode. Adding a new script accepts the scripts and everything seems fine until I try to actually run it. Then it throws the error unity_csc.bat error again and breaks the scripts.
I'll try on another machine today to check if this is just me somehow.

Okay it seems to work fine on my laptop, so I guess it's something to do with Unity on my main rig.
Leave it to Unity Hub to break everything, as usual. sigh
