boids's Issues

Source for the 2D Boids used in the video

Hi, is it possible that you upload the 2D project of the boids you used in the video?
i.e. here
I'm having trouble understanding how to do a clean 2D layout suitable for this kind of purpose because every tutorial is only about programming actual games as opposed to "simulations".
Regards

Discrepancy Between separtionHeading and avoidanceHeading

It seems that you never write to BoidData.avoidanceHeading...and conversely you never read from the struct Boid.separationHeading.

When you read the data out of the compute buffer do the variable names not matter? Does it automatically convert the Boid struct into the BoidData struct based on the types of data and not the variable names?

ECS Sample Project Link

In the Readme.md file, there is a link for ECS Sample Project for Boids. The current link is broken but I found it on the same repo Here

Boids often escape their bounds

First of all, thank you so much for providing this! I've had so much fun playing around with this and I'm trying to set up my own scene for boids to fly around in.

I've found that boids often go through walls, escaping their bounds. You can see this in the sample scene you provided, too. Do you know why this may happen or how to fix it?
