More importantly than maintainers, I think the time has come to formalise a process for accepting/rejecting changes to DSSE. Something like a PEP/ITE/TAP. Without it, it's going to be impossible to agree to changes (and even then, things could take a very long time, so we may need something like SLAs there, too).
