Benchmark

In a near future, it would be nice to see a comparison among Hammer and other build tools, like bundless is doing. Maybe a fork that could cover the corresponding commands in Hammer.

Problem on Windows 10

Hi,
first of all - thanks for Hammer! I am using it on MacOSX and Linux with no problem.

On Win10 it fails with this error message:

node:events:504
      throw er; // Unhandled 'error' event
      ^

Error: spawn mkdir ENOENT

Any idea why that is and how to run it properly?

Support for PWA

Hello @sinclairzx81, thanks for such a useful tool. Amazing job!

It would be very useful if Hammer could offer support for PWA, detecting a manifest file (.webmanifest/.json) and transforming icons and other resources. Parcel lacks a good support for PWA (plug-ins are needed).

Programmable API

Would be cool if Hammer exposed a public API for writing custom build chains (for example a dev server)

CRLF line endings make this unusable on UNIX systems

Trying to use Hammer on a UNIX system (macOS Monterey) throws this error:

$ hammer
env: node\r: No such file or directory

The CRLF line endings cause env to be unable to find node, instead it strips the \n character but leaves the \r.

The fix appears to be as easy as using LF line endings instead of CRLF.

The same issue exists in Smoke-Task.

Run script once without monitoring

You hummer is cool! I can run node script with any module types without configure. I'm happy with it.

But I can not just run script. I use command hammer run my-script.js and hammer activate watch directory. I'm not want watch. I just run once. I use ctrl-c for any running my scripts.

How can I run script once? May be hammer has option for it?
