HomeConMenu is available for free only on the Mac App Store only, because Apple does not allow us to sign and notarize binaries that use HomeKit framework. To tell the truth, I don't want to publish on the Mac App Store because it would be too much trouble.

Privacy control

For testing, you can reset the status of privacy control to access HomeKit.

[ISSUE] wrong icon for "themed" smart sockets

First off: I love your tool! If been search for something alike since quite some time, and even configured a workaround solution using the Shortcuts app.

The minor issue I realised is, that sockets, which are configured to be lights (or fans I presume) within the Home app, are still displayed as sockets.

[FEATURE REQUEST] global hotkeys (shortcuts) for devices & scenes

The issues' name is pretty self explanatory. An UI for configuring global shortcuts. You might want to take a look at "Scenecuts" for some inspiration who this feature could look like.

No devices despite enabling HomeKit access

Running Sonoma 14.0 and HomeCon 3.1.1. No devices are discovered. Tried reloading and disabling and reenabling HomeKit access.

[ISSUE] Memory leak on opening/closing MenuBar

Every time the menu bar list is opened and closed, the memory usage increases (and is never released again).
I don't know if this is the only memory leak, as I don't open and close it enough for it to be a gigabyte like it is now:

Support multiple houses.

Great app, you'd deserve that.

HomeConMenu sometimes crashes in the background

HomeConMenu seems to sometimes crash while I'm not using it. The crashes are silent: I don't get a crash reporting window.

However, a crash report does get generated in DiagnosticReports.
