The issue could be due to UAC.
Are you using the built-in administrator account or an account created with admin rights ?

As alternative, you can perform the installation by manually copying the files into the SSMS extension folder from which the Addin will be loaded.

Assuming you want to install the version for SSMS 2014 (version 120) the steps to be performed are:

• open folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\120\Tools\Binn\ManagementStudio\Extensions\
• create folder \SSASQueryAnalyzer.Client.SSMS\
• copy all files from folder \asqa-v0.1.0\bin\120 to \ManagementStudio\Extensions\SSASQueryAnalyzer.Client.SSMS

SSMS will load AddIn at next run.

If SSMS gets you an error saying "The package SSASQueryAnalyzer did not load correctly" you must select "No" and restart SSMS.

For background, the reason you see this message is that SSMS doesn't actually officially support extensions.
"… What happens the first time you open SSMS with a package installed is an error telling you that it failed to load, asking if you want to continue to see this error. If the user responds to the dialog to say they do notwant to be notified of any further errors with the extension, then the SkipLoading registry value for the extension gets created/set. The next time SSMS is opened, the extension will load successfully. …“
