Having trouble connecting to database needs better documentation for entering database information. A screen-shot with example data would be nice.

You didn't specify what exactly to replace this string with . An attempt to replace open.subinsb.com with localhost\open resulted in a syntax error

Secondly, database 'open' table 'users' has a column 'psalt' which is given as 'password_salt' class.logsys.php
