Creating a android app should not be actually a big deal and is on my agenda for this year. Regarding the sync problematic you can use for example onwcloud or dropbox for this functionality. Please refer to this drawing http://tagspaces.org/syncing-tagged-files-between-devices/ , which give a proposal for cross device synchronization.

"Selecting directory not supported on Android yet".
"Conceptioned for use on a tablet and not for a telephone" : it is difficult with my Galaxy S to do something usable but with my Galaxy Tab, it's very interesting :)
After, I want to use OwnCloud Sync and TagSpaces with MarkDown to try to replace Evernote

The android app was published to google play this week. Selecting directories now works on android.
