Thanks for the bug report. I'm unsure if this is a problem with the build process for your platform, or your platform itself. Did you try disabling Windows Defender? I'm not really sure which file is missing, doesn't seem to say so?

Which Python version do you use?

I dug deeper, and realized that the binding needs Go. The error wasn't exactly obvious as subprocess.check_call seems to check if the binary exists before actually running it, so it wasn't caught. I installed Go in MSYS2 and everything worked fine. Sorry for the trouble.
