enchantism's Issues

Inability to drop items while using the enchantment table

Not sure how much of an issue this might pose, was brought up to me as a potential bug by someone else - if you've got the enchanting screen open up in front of you, you're unable to drop items on the ground by way of clicking and dropping them off the side of the screen (it'll just stick to your cursor until you place it back in your inventory or exit out of the screen).

Not really a drastic issue, but figured you might like to be aware of it :)

Investigate use of bookshelves

Might be a bit of work however I'm pretty sure this can be done.

0 bookshelves — level I enchants only
5 bookshelves — level II enchants
10 bookshelves — level III enchants
15 bookshelves — level IV enchants

Will need to detect location of enchant table somehow, maybe hook in to right click block event instead of GUI open?

Any possibility of introducing a 'randomise' feature?

Something i've had requested by a few people on our server, is there any possibility of adding in an option that allows you to select a 'randomised' enchantment, similar to how enchanting in the vanilla setup works? I can see this perhaps being quite a task to set up, but I thought perhaps something like the 'unenchant' button, where for 30 levels (or whichever is your default maximum level) you can choose to gamble what enchantment you will receive, rather than select them individually.

This idea comes from both the interest in providing players with the ability to use (at least in some ways) the vanilla enchanting setup, as well as provide the opportunity to gamble and 'win' multiple enchantments at once (such as bows with a good 3-4 enchantments on them at once).

Again, I can imagine this might be a difficult feat, but it's one i've heard requested a number of times, so I figure i'd get it out there to ask if this might be something you would consider working on implementing.

Can't change enchantment levels

I have the configuration scaled to how much I want enchantments costing what I want, but for some reason it's not going through??? Is there a problem in the permission system? I have essentials activated so could that be a reason? I'm not sure what the problem is. I'm running 1.7.9. (I love this mod by the way, you should update it!!!)

Enchants are allowed to be picked up?

Just curious if this is an intended feature or a bug. When in the enchantment table, u can pick up the books that have enchants on them(ex: picking up a protection 4 book) instead of just being able to click them. the books do dissapear if trying to drop them or picking up the item u put in. Just hear complaints about it being annoying.

I am considering putting a pull request on it but idek if its a bug or not.
Thanks for your time

Relative position to the enchantment table affects what enchantments are offered

Heard about this issue from a couple of other people and finally had the opportunity to test this out myself today. If you're standing in different positions in relation to the enchanting table (distance-wise, haven't noticed this in standing on the left side of the table as opposed to the right), it can affect what tier of enchantments are offered to you. Using the default requirements for bookcases, standing 3 blocks away from my enchantment table with 18 bookcases attached to it (more than the 15 needed), I receive this offering of enchantments. Standing one block closer, I get the full four tiers shown here.

I'm afraid I can't offer any suggestions for what causes this to occur (and thus, no solution), but I figured it would interest you to know it happens.
