xcolors's Issues

create a basic set of tests

Create a basic set of tests to ensure that our regex patterns on the parser catch everything we want. This will also make easier any future pattern changes.

xcolors.net do not present meaningful information on search engines

Google says:

Xcolors.net · Contribute · About · astromouse. 40m, 41m, 42m, 43m, 44m, 45m, 46m, 47m.
 30m, txt, txt, txt, txt, txt, txt, txt, txt, txt. 1;30m, txt, txt, txt, txt, txt, txt, txt, txt ...

While in duckduckgo the situation is a bit better as it exposes the front page title:

Color themes for Xresources aware terminals ... 40m 41m 42m 43m 44m 45m 46m 47m; 30m
txt: txt: txt: txt: txt: txt: txt: txt

Maybe this can be fixed by putting some extra information in <meta> tags in base.html.

A bunch of stuff

Hi,

I don't have the time to prepare a pull request right now, just to let you know you can check out some of my colorschemes here:
https://github.com/trapd00r/configs/tree/master/Xcolors

and here:
https://github.com/trapd00r/Term-ExtendedColor-Xresources/blob/master/lib/Term/ExtendedColor/Xresources/Colorscheme.pm#L19

You might also find things like https://github.com/trapd00r/colorcoke and https://github.com/trapd00r/rgbterm useful if you're going to generate new colorschemes.

Per application colors

Hi,

I wonder if it would be possible to prefix the different templates so that one becomes able to load them on a per application basis.

Right now if you do in your .Xresources #include "astromouse" it will be used for all your applications (for instance solarized is ugly with skype, Mathematica, Keepass as shown here http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/58528/xresources-color-settings). I wish I could load one theme per application. To do that I propose to prefix every entry so that one can do in its Xresources:

define prefix Urxvt

include "astromouse"

define prefix Xterm

include "solarized"

! Add 'prefix' in front of every entry
#if !defined(prefix)
#define prefix
#endif
prefix*color0:  #1c1c1c
prefix*color8:  #3d3a3a
