Visual Effect Graph - Samples

In this project you will be able to access sample scenes and effects made with the Visual Effect Graph. You can download snapshots of these samples by using the release tab, or by cloning this repository.

There are also pre-built binaries for Windows and/or macOS available.

Generating distance gradient

Hi, I'm trying to generate a distance gradient from a geometry but all I have in reference is a graph that uses one to maintain particles along a surface from Keijiro and I can't seem to duplicate his results.

My distance gradient does not behave as expected, but I also have no other reference or way to compare?

Could somebody point me in the right direction? Is there a possibility of generating an example Houdini file?

Running on iOS devices?

Will these examples run on iOS devices, specifically iPad Pro? Can they also be run in LWRP or do we have to use HDRP?

Moving to URP (LWRP)

Is there any chance to switch the SRP to URP instead of HDRP?

Or any clues on moving some particles to URP?

Opening VFX files breaks the demos

Hello,
I just downloaded Samples 4.9 Preview rev1 and having a little problems.
Samples run fine initially but as soon as I open VFX files in the vfx editor, they are permanently broken. I guess editor overrides some parameters or something on window initialization or something?

In example, voxel terrain demo looks like this after loading graph;

New Version is not working

I am using Windows 10, unity 2019.2.7f and 2019.2.0f, new project sample is not working. It crashes after a while package resolving.

UnityEngine.Experimental Not linking to .VFX Library

Apologies if this isn't the right repo to be asking this, but I've been unable to find the core VFX git repo after a few hours of searching...

I am unable to get scripting working for my VFX graphs in Visual Studio. I am able to create VFX graphs using the editor, and create exposed parameters (i.e. the VFX packages is definitely imported in Unity), but when I try to include:

UnityEngine.Experimental.VFX

Visual Studio can't seem to find the module. Is there an additional step I need to take to include the module?

Hi, what is the license associated to the assets?

Compile error on 2019.2

The VoxelizedTerrainController.cs just needed:

using UnityEngine.VFX.Utils;

changed to:

using UnityEngine.Experimental.VFX.Utility;

vfx parameters from script

Does anybody tell me how to set vfx block parameters from script?
It's shown in inspector yet I dont know how to get componet and parameters that I can set.

Files is corrupted

I just finished downloading the project but the files is corrupted. Or is it just me?

Why Line output contains multiple "Set Position"?

I checked ARRadar sample however I couldn't understand why Line output of "Radar Lines" contains two "Set Position".

I'd like to know how VFXGraph processes such a multiple "Set Position".
Second "Set Position" loads "Get Attribute position(Current)" and the current position means the value of the first "Set Position"?

No nodes in MorphingFace

The MorphingFace example only shows the parameters and the attach panel. It should have more nodes that do the FX.

(I played around with the parameters thinking they would change the simulation but there is no effect.)

How can I make fluid stream in Visual Effect System?

I want to make a kind of blood fluid stream in 3D Modeling.

I added a modeling in scene and add mesh collider component at modeling.

It is working well with unity Particle System

but Visual Effect Graph's particles pass through the modeling.

If the problem is caused by difference of CPU base or GPU base, how can I solve it?
