datadashboard's Issues

Don't reset existing channel labels when adding new channels

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
On the first session, where there's no serial labels in config file, adding new channel will clear labels for existing channels. If config exists, they will be pulled from the config.

Describe the solution you'd like
Channel label never gets reset unless user has manually cleared it

Describe alternatives you've considered
Potential workaround is to either exit the app, or connect/disconnect the input before adding new channels.

Show current numeric value of a channel

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Lack of clear visualization of current numeric value of a math channel

Describe the solution you'd like
Simple widget that shows the numeric value of a selected channel

Math channel component layout is not easy to read

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When editing a math channel component, the field says something like Match channel X += ....

Describe the solution you'd like
Replace += with = Channel X followed by the channel number for easier understanding
