Request: Xbox360 Passthrough for MegaJoy

Hi there,

would it possible to implement a pass-through mode for making the MegaJoy /
UnoJoy work with the Xbox360? There is a similar, open-source project. Maybe it
would be possible to reuse some lines:
https://github.com/IvIePhisto/Dual-Strike.

Thank you!

Compatibility With Atmega328

I have an Arduino Duemilanove and a Arduino Nano. Are any of this IC compatible
with this bootloader? If so then can someone show me the steps for burning the
bootloader on those chips? I saw somewhere in the code that there is an
exception for Duemilanove but I don't understand.

Can't get dfu programmer to work on Osx

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download the latest UnoJoy release
2. Put your Arduino in DFU mode
3. Run TurnIntoAJoystick.command

I am on A Snow Leopard 10.6.8 . Downloaded the latest release and followed the
Getting Started Procedure. I have installed the drivers for SnowLeopard and put
my Arduino R3 in DFU mode. However the dfu programmer isn't working at all.
First, in the latest release the TurnIntoAJoystick.command is the same as the
window version and gives command not found errors.

I than downloaded an older release and the script gives this errors :

MegaJoy Analog function not reading correctly in Win7

I installed MegaJoy successfully(?) in Windows 7 64-bit and my Arduino Mega
2560 R3.

Windows sees the axis and buttons in both virtual joysticks as "UnoJoy
Joystick" (devices and printers).

To test the analog controller input, I put a potentiometer along the analog
input side of the Mega (A0 to A15).

In A0, Windows (Game Controllers -> UnoJoy properties) shows the x-axis /
y-axis (the open box) scroll across the top left/right as I move the
potentiometer.

A1 to A5 does nothing.

When I connect the potentiometer to A6 to A15 and setup virtual joystick 2
properties, all axis (plural) move as I turn the pot. So, the x/y axis box
moves diagonal top-left to bottom-right, the z-axis, x- and y- and z- rotation
bars move from left to right at one time.

What I would like to do is use A1 as one axis (let's say x-rotation), A2 as
another axis (y-rotation)...etc. To be able to isolate the potentiometer for
one axis or rotation.

Unable to change Joystick back to DFU mode

I've got a first gen Uno, I was able to write to it without an issue. However,
now that it's in Joystick mode, I'm unable to get it to go back to DFU mode.
Jumping the two pins causes it to restart as expected, but it doesn't get
recognized by windows as being in DFU mode. TurnIntoArduino fails to find
anything that it can flash. Flip is installed.

DFU Mode for ATmega16U2 in Uno R3

Windows .bat file included in OS X release

Just tried Unojoy out for the first time and found that the .command files to
reflash the Arduino using OS X are actually the same as on the Windows .bat
files. I worked around this using the .command files from an older release.

After installing drivers, Win7-64 sees new hardware continuously

This started happening after installing the drivers to get UnoJoy and MegaJoy
running on my Windows 7 64-bit machine.

Looking at Devices and Printers, and hearing the Windows notification tones, an
Unknown Device appears for a second like it is a new hardware device or was
just connected, then it is removed from Devices and Printers after about a
second or two, with the Windows notification tone. It happens at random
intervals every 2 to 10 seconds.

Whether the Arduino card is plugged in or not does not make a difference.

UnoJoyProcessingVisualizer bad com port discovery

On my computer COM3 is occupied by "Dell Wireless 5530 HSPA Mini-Card Device
Management".

When starting UnoJoyProcessingVisualizer.exe nothing seem to happen. No window
opens. But there is a java process visible in the Task Manager.

Starting UnoJoyProcessingVisualizer from the command line gives the following
output:

>"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.6.0_20\bin\java" -classpath
lib\core.jar;lib\RXTXcomm.jar;lib\serial.jar;lib\UnoJoyProcessingVisualizer.jar

        at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:619)

Disabling the devices which occupy COM3 and COM4 ports and restarting the
computer will make UnoJoyProcessingVisualizer pick COM4. But my Arduino is on
COM7. Manually reassigning Arduino to COM4 finally will lead to success. But
usually COM4 is already used by a driver in my system which com port assignment
I cannot change.

> What is the expected output?

A window should show the exception instead of just doing nothing.

I don't know if it is possible to fix com port discovery. But in every case
it'd be a good step to allow the user to select the com port.
