you can reproduce by these steps:
Sign a prefab into AssetPath field.
Create a new folder beside this prefab
move the prefab into the new folder you'v created above。
then you will find that the reference of that prefab is missing from the assetpath field where you used to have signed before.
Nice work! Would it be possible to support Lists of objects, for example:
public List m_PlayerPrefab;
When file's path contains extension name and is under folder "/Resources"
"AssetPath.Load" will be failed
