openaudio's Issues

FIR_FFT_Benchmarking.ino KISS FFT memory failure

Not a big deal, since the first iteration of KISS_FFT benchmark works, but 2nd and 3rd iteration report
KISS FFT: N = 1024 in *** NOT ENOUGH TEMP MEMORY ***
Is there a memory leak?

FYI, I ran the benchmark on Teensy 3.2/3.5/3.6 and confirmed your results. Also ran it on dragonfly (STM32L4 @80mhz) and mbed K64F @120mhz, speed up to T3.2@96mhz for float 128:
dragonfly 7.7
mbed k64 12.97

the mbed k64 is faster than the teensy 3.5 probably because mbed uses ARM gcc with -O3

object requests [bpm detect, signal phase, mid remover]

i don't know how to audio lib exactly works, so i'll make a request with objects i'd like to see.

1: bpm detector (for wav files/ synth beat tracking)
a pdf explaining the algorythms: http://www.music.mcgill.ca/~hockman/coursework/MUMT_614/scheirer/614_scheirer_presentation.pdf

2: mid remover (removing the mono signal from a stereo source, and keeping both left-right instead in adding them to one channel)

3: phase of a signal (preferably to be set per 45 degrees)
if this is too hard, i'd at least like a 180 degree phase option (aka inverting the signal)

example use cases:
1 can be used for a complete bare bones dj controller.
2 and 3 can be used for more advanced surround sound decoding.

please tell me what you think of these ideas and if they will be implemented, and when(?).

Break-away test section of pwb

Looking at your desire to make things smaller one issue is access for test. I have seen designs where traces extend through cut-able bridges to connectors, pins, what ever needed for test. After it tests out you break that portion away. NO huge .1 center headers remain !

I'll try to find an example if your interested.

I'm a retired mechanical engineer who dabbles in everything. I can help with 3D printed case designs. Here's a project I designed a case for: AVNA1. Also built the project. It works great but would probably work better with your ADC/DAC ?

Any work on Teensy 4?

I'm sure your thinking about it ! Just curious. Great project though. I would build one but I think the T4 may be better suited and it won't be to much longer.

OpenAudible 1.1.4 won't connect in Ubuntu 18.04

I just did a clean install of Ubuntu 18.04 and tried to install OpenAudible. The original version I installed will not uninstall and the new version will not connect to audible. The program accepts my login and password in preferences and opens the web page for the login page BUT it still indicates Connected No.
