this is what i have in Config.groovy

grails {
  assets {
    handlebars {
      templateRoot = 'hb_templates'
      templatePathSeperator = "/"
    }
    angular {
      templateFolder = 'templates'
      moduleNameBase = ''
      compressHtml = true
      preserveHtmlComments = false
      includePathInName = true
    }
  }
}

This was fixed in a later version.
