Disable auto close for google reader.

If the auto close option is enabled, please don't close the reader tab, just do nothing or scroll to the next item. Thanks!

Text View Fix

Has a fix been released for text view? Is there an extra setting or plugin that needs to be enabled in chrome for it to work? Love the extension but the text view is the only problem holding me back!

Backspace bleeds through in text fields

For some reason, Instachrome causes the backspace shortcut for 'previous page' to bleed through while typing in text fields, causing loss of the typed text as the browser jumps backwards in history.

Confirmed on Facebook, google.com and several other sites.

Chrome 8.0.552.231 on 13" MBP 2010, OSX 10.6.4

Instapaper doesn't support Chrome v6.0.447.0 dev

I'm sure this isn't an expected version to use but i get an error with no log or an ability to see what went wrong.

Version number 6.0.447.0 dev. I'd really just like to see what the errors are so that i can attempt to debug them.

Wrong page title when adding from context menu.

The title pretty much says it all. If I'm reading a page on foo.com and it has a link to bar.com, I right-click the link and add it from the context menu. When it shows up in instapaper, the title of the page is from foo.com (should be from bar.com). This extension has the correct behaviour https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/aneobdgphmijbiobonlnmcpmhdepfkog# and I would like to see it here too :)

Not setting keyboard shortcut causes any text entry to save to Instapaper

I believe this is the same issue reported by Svetlin 3 days ago. Some text entry (sending a Facebook message, logging into GitHub) causes that page to save to Instapaper and close. Setting a keyboard shortcut (i.e. not blank) seems to have fixed the issue for me.

Configuration is not saved

It looks like Instachrome doesn't save the configuration: I have to reconfigure it each time I restart chromium (6.0.398.0 (46652) Ubuntu)

Work with Google Reader like the "Read it Later" bookmark

The bookmarklet provided by Instapaper allows you to retrieve individual entries rather than the entire page.

Read Later Context option not showing up

Using 1.5.1 and Chrome 10.0.648.45 dev. Every context menu option shows up except for "Read Later". I've tried switching around the settings and hitting save and restarting the browser, but it doesn't fix it.

"Read Later" function doesn't work behind Active Directory proxy with authentication

I can't "save" any link using Instachrome. When I click "Read Later" I always get the red "err!' icon. It happens on every page.

I'm behind Active Directory proxy, so every time I run Chrome, I have to confirm my credentials (once).

After loging in, every page opens up correctly, but Instachrome still can't save a page. Other functions of Instachrome work fine.

Versions: Chrome: 13.0.782.215 m; Instachrome: 1.5.2

Bookmarklet works with NYBooks.com, Instachrome extension does not.

I am a subscriber to the NY Review of Books, so I get access to the full text of their articles when I sign in to the website. The Instatpaper bookmarklet is smart enough to know this and correctly saves the full article in my Instapaper account. However, the Instachrome extension does not, only giving me the portion of the article viewable if I wasn't signed in to NYbooks.com.

Randomly saving Facebook home page

What I expected:

1. Open Facebook
2. Find an interesting link and click on it
3. Find that it's long and use Instachrome to ping it to Instapaper & my kindle

What happened instead:

1. Open Facebook
2. Not find any interesting links and instead a bunch personality quizzes instead (great friends)
3. Notice, to my shock, that my Instapaper list is filled with Facebook permalinks and the home page

System:
Chromium 8.0.552.215 (67652) on Ubuntu 10.10 Netbook
Running Ghostery, WOT, Flashblock, and FB Purity

Show number of unread items in badge

Well, I guess the title says it all...

Should probably be an option, and only when no other badge is shown.
However, I've no idea if InstaPaper provides this info easily (API?)...

Improvement: Right Click Link Save

I was wondering if it would take much effort to add an item to the menu that appears when you right-click on a link such that you could add the page that the link links to to Instapaper? I might look into it myself if I have time. I know that the reload all tabs guys do this already: http://github.com/mohamedmansour/reload-all-tabs-extension so you might be able to get some example code from there.

Under what license is this code released? I don't see this information anywhere. I'd like to contribute, but only if this is using a license like GPL, BSD, MIT, etc. so that I can know what license my code is being released under. Thanks!

Default Icon with Chromed Icons Selected.

When selecting the chromed icons, the 'default' icon is not chromed. 'saving' and 'saved' are both chromed, but 'default' isn't.

Feature Request: Integrate with Instapaper Folders

It would be great if Instachrome could recognize my folders in Instapaper to have a ADD button for each folder like:

• Read Later
• Read Later @ Folder 1
• Read Later @ Folder B

If this feature would be implemented I could finally get rid of my extra bookmarklets.

As a bonus you might be able to select the default folder when using the keyboard shortcut.

Mark as read when closing.

When I open and then close a tab that I had previously marked as read later, I would like it to be marked as read, so my actions would be "open open artilcle; too long, add to reading list; close; open after a while; finish reading; close; extensions automatically marks it as read in instapaper" I think this would greatly improve the user experience.
