Good point.
If the deposit of objects is not completed in Task1 (including no deposit), no bonus point will be given. But you can still move to room2 to start Task2.
This scoring policy is already implemented in the simulator. Please update the simulator if it is not applied.

Hi,

1. Answer is no. The robot initially located in room1 where Task1 is started and the scoring system decides task1 is finished if the robot enters room2.
2. Sim Time in Gazebo.

When Task 1 has been completed or time limit is up, the robot moves to Room 2 to perform Task 2. As the name of the task suggests, the robot should move at least one object to a deposit before being able to move to the next room or being granted any bonus point. The robot should inform the operator whether the tasks have been completed or the time limit is up.

The rules state as above.
Does it apply to the simulator?

The robot does not have to inform the operator about the completion of the task1. It will be automatically determined by its move to room2.
