pdfcount

This is a simple package and shiny app designed to count words in a PDF document, for example generated by LaTeX.

You can use the package locally:

pdfcount's Issues

Regex error in R 4.0

word_count breaks under R 4.0 due to the new build moving from PCRE1 to PRCE2.

Create a LaTeX PDF with known number of words and parse it. Probably need a tolerance.
