Please retry with current Thetis release for the HL2. There was an issue with the audio mixer which might have caused this.

I tried with HL2 beta5 and still the same issue with MON function while on USB or LSB... AM sounds good. You need headphone to computer and turn on MON, use either USB or LSB and sounds very bad like out of phase. When on AM, MON sounds beautiful (beside latency). Not found on powersdr 3.4.9 or 3.5.0. Seem to be an issue with HL2 and Thetis.
