Can you try calling initialstate(mdp) immediately after constructing the mdp and put the results here?
I think the problem might be in there somewhere.

I should say, I've just tried this on a different machine and it is working. I wonder if I don't need to reinstall all of my dependencies?

There is a get_by_id issue in examples/Tintersection.jl but that is separate and perhaps I can fix it separately

Yeah that is pretty strange. If the initialstate(mdp) doesn't throw an error then I don't know where the issue is.
Make sure to update all your packages, a full reinstall shouldn't be necessary

Sorry, yes I had to update all of my packages. I did however still have issues with the blindspot example. I can open a ticket for that if you like.
