Publication Author List

Hi,

I am trying to limit the number of author names which are printed in the list to just 1. I tried to include
maxnames=1,
maxcitenames=1, % affects only the citations in the document body
in the cls file but it didn't change it. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

article publications have their year twice in the reference

Conference proceedings look good with this, but I would like to not have the article reference have their year written twice, but I'm not sure how exactly to accomplish this here.
Here is what an article reference looks like to me:

A carbocyclic carbene as an efficient catalyst ligand for C–C coupling reactions
Wolfgang A. Herrmann, Karl Öfele, Sabine K. Schneider, Eberhardt Herdtweck, Stephan D. Hoffmann
Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 45.23 (2006) pp. 3859–3862. 2006

While this is a conference proceeding:

Le De Anima dans la tradition grècque
Paul Moraux
Aristotle on Mind and the Senses, 1979, Cambridge

Is there a way to remove the (2006) from the article reference?
Normally I would change the reference style, but I'm not really sure where you choose the style, and I do like the style otherwise.

Include book as bib entry

Add book as highlighted here and here.

\DeclareFieldFormat[book]{title}{#1\par}

\DeclareBibliographyDriver{book}{%
  \fontsize{9pt}{1em}\bodyfont%
  \printfield{title}%
  \newblock%
  \printnames{author}%
  \par%
  \newblock%
  {%
    \fontsize{8pt}{1em}\bodyfontlight\color{graytext}%
    \printlist{publisher}%
    \setunit{\addcomma\space}%
    \printfield{note}%
    \setunit{\addcomma\space}%
    \printfield{year}%
    \newunit%
  }
  \par\vspace{0.3\baselineskip}
}

Bibtex list adding an extra "." before the numericlabel

Hello,
I have updated the awesome-cv.cls file and added the "Bibliography" section in the file. In the "style" option, instead of using "verbose", I am using "numeric" option which lists the publication with numeric label.

\RequirePackage[ % BibLaTeX
   sorting=ydnt, % Sorts entries by year (descending order), name, title
   style=numeric,
   labelnumber=true,
   doi=false,
   isbn=true,
   url=false,
   eprint=false,
   backref = false, % include back references in bibliography
   maxcitenames=3, % affects only the citations in the document body
   maxbibnames=99, % affects only the bibliography, pass 99 to print all
   hyperref=true,
   block=space,
   backend=biber % {Options: bibtex, biber}
   ]{biblatex}

The problem is, for some reason, this change adds an extra "." from the second item in the list when I use \printbibliography command:

\cvsection{Publications}
\nocite{*}
\printbibliography[type=inproceedings,heading=subbibliography,title={Conference proceedings}]

Here is the result:

Conference proceedings
[1] ABC
     A.B, A.C, C.A
     Conferece A, 2018
. [2] XYZ
      Y.Z, A.B, M.K
      Another Conferece, 2018
. [3] CYZ
      Some, Authors
      Differenct Conference, 2017

I can't figure out why is there an extra "." appended in the pdf?

Unable to compile bibliography with BibLaTeX

I've managed to compile my PDF without major errors and the resulting PDF looks good with the exception of publications.tex file. For some reason, the section is rendered...

references.bib is formatted as such:

@article{appelhoff2019,
  title = {{{MNE-BIDS}}: {{Organizing}} Electrophysiological Data into the {{BIDS}} Format and Facilitating Their Analysis},
  author = {Appelhoff, Stefan and Sanderson, Matthew and Brooks, Teon and {van Vliet}, Marijn and Quentin, Romain and Holdgraf, Chris and Chaumon, Maximilien and Mikulan, Ezequiel and Tavabi, Kambiz and H{\"o}chenberger, Richard and Welke, Dominik and Brunner, Clemens and Rockhill, Alexander and Larson, Eric and Gramfort, Alexandre and Jas, Mainak},
  year    = {2019},
  month   = dec,
  journal = {JOSS},
  volume  = {4},
  number  = {44},
  pages   = {1896},
  issn    = {2475-9066},
  doi     = {10/gmjqdh}
}

publications.tex looks like...

\cvsubsection{Journal Articles}

\begin{refsection}
	\nocite{appelhoff2019}

	\printbibliography[
	heading=none,
	sorting=ydnt
	]
\end{refsection}
