This test applies to the LP07 only. The LP07 will fault if a line is overprinted 8 times. The LP26 has a DIP switch (S2-8) which adds additional control to this condition:

S2-8: ON - Error if more than 140 print operation occur without paper motion.
S2-8: OFF - Error if more than 8 print operations occur without paper motion.

Apparently the LP26 is usually operated in the 140 overprint mode and furthermore TEST.133 performs 16 overprints (CR with no LF) on each line.

Since I have no intention on making this configurable, I'm going to document that the only supported printer is the LP26 and close this issue without fixing it.
