Can you provide a standalone map that exhibits this issue?

Certainly! I made a quick test map which uses existing Q2RTX assets. I also made a version with the emissive brushes flagged as "mist" since that seems to make the issue easier to see though it's still quite obvious without. Thanks @res2k!

One more thing to note is that this issue CAN be seen in the original maps as well, it's just harder to see, but if you go to this area which is right in the first map and switch to night mode you can see more noise in these areas when compared with 1.6.

@PalmliX, please check PR #289 - it removed the noisiness in the test map you provided, so I think it's worthwhile to run your real maps with it.

@res2k That seems to have done the trick! I checked multiple maps and the issue appears to have been eliminated as far as I can tell.
