sot-pattern-generator

This software provides jrl-walkgen bindings for the dynamic-graph package. It allows the computation of whole-body biped walk trajectories.

Setup

To compile this package, it is recommended to create a separate build directory:

mkdir _build
cd _build
cmake [OPTIONS] ..
make install

Please note that CMake produces a CMakeCache.txt file which should be deleted to reconfigure a package from scratch.

What is the (future) main branch?

Hello,

I would like to know what is (or what will be) the next main python branch for the package sot-pattern-generator.
I'd like to clean the git rep by reducing the number of branches of this package (by eliminating mine), and before that I want to save some of the modifications I made.

Those two lines write the direct path to the file which is an issue when the sot is not installed in /opt/openrobots

Win32: segFault during the creation of the PatternGenerator Entity

This issue can be easily tested by creating the entity in the unitTest, but it is unfortunately -for me- windows specific (I tried with the same configuration on ubuntu 10.04 with the same version of boost (1.40) and it worked).
I tried to find the cause, and I think the error is due to the lines 58 - 59:

,OneStepOfControlS( boost::bind(&PatternGenerator::OneStepOfControl,this,_1,_2),
firstSINTERN << jointPositionSIN ,"PatternGenerator("+name+")::onestepofcontrol" )

Commenting them suppress the segFault, but I can not go any further.
Can someone make a wild guess?

I don't know if giving the config.log will be of use (since I'm the only one on Win32). Since it is quite long, I'd rather only give the logs of each pkg:

talos_reduced_wpg.urdf can possibly be installed elsewhere than /opt/openrobots
